Born in the Grand Est region of France, Lucas Kleffert soon bacame sensitive to music in his childhood through his musician father as well as films and video games.
He started his music training in 2019 by learning to play electric guitar and covering bands he loves on YouTube. In 2021, he develops this further and create the "Epic Metal Covers", a series of rearrangements and medleys of video game music in the orchestral metal genre.
He began his bachelor’s degree in Musicology at the University of Lorraine and the Conservatoire Régional du Grand Nancy, during which time his interest in composition and music for visual media grew even more. He also discovered other instruments, namely bass guitar and clarinet.
In 2026, Lucas completed his music studies with a master's degree in Creative Music and Sound Design for Visual Media Scoring at Université Côte d'Azur supervised by Jean-François Trubert, reknown composers Pierre Ruscher and Julien Vega, award-winning film composer Sacha Chaban, and sound engineers Stephen Taylor and Maxence Mercier.
He earned his master’s degree by unanimous decision, with praise for his dedication to his craft, his musical identity and artistic vision, as well as his computer-assisted music skills.
During his curriculum, he also worked with the National Orchestra of Cannes who recorded a few of his personal compositions. In 2025, he was one of the nominee emerging composers participating in the 28th edition of the French film festival Valence Scénario.
To this day, he has worked on independent video games with Kinoko Studio or well-known French art school ARTFX, but also on short films, as well as a first feature film as a music editor at Philartmedia Studio alongside composers Thérence Guillerme, Dorian Bonnardel, and Victor Basier.
He is currently directing his first original short film and pursuing his career with new projects in composition and sound design.
